Day 1 : Delhi to Shimla (370 Kilometer / 6 Hours Journey)

Shimla: Strung out along a 12km ridge, with steep forested hillsides falling away in all directions, the Himachal capital is a good appetite-whetter for the awe-inspiring mountain tracts of the states interior. Shimla is one of Indias most popular hill resorts, buzzing with a happy flow of Indian vacationers and full of echoes of its past role as the summer capital of British India. The long, winding main street, the Mall, runs east and west just below the spine of the hill. South of it, the maze-like alleys of the bustling bazaar cascade steeply down to traffic-busy Cart Rd, which has the train station, Old Bus Station and taxi stands. Traffic is banned from the central part of town, so walking anywhere is pleasant – even when huffing and puffing uphill. A passenger lift provides a quick route between the eastern Mall and Cart Rd. The official centre of town is the junction called Scandal Point. From here, the flat open area known as the Ridge stretches east to Christ Church. A jagged line of distant snowy peaks is clearly visible for about half the year. From mid-July to mid-September Shimla is frequently wreathed in cloud, and in winter it often gets a carpeting of snow.

Day 2 : Shimla Local Sights Seeing Tour

Jakhu Temple: Shimla’s most famous temple, a steep 30-minute hike up from the east end of the Ridge, is dedicated to the monkey god Hanuman, so it is quite appropriate that hundreds of rhesus macaques loiter around, harassing devotees for prasad (temple-blessed food offerings). Nearby a 33m-high pink statue of Hanuman looms above the treetops and is visible from most of Shimla Gaiety Theater: This lovely Victorian theatre, opened in 1877 and now splendidly restored, has long been a focus of Shimla social life. Rudyard Kipling, Shashi Kapoor and various viceroys are among those who have trodden its Burmese teak boards. Today it hosts visiting theatre companies as well as 15 local dramatic societies.

Today morning after a filling delicious breakfast, visit Naldhera. It boasts of the oldest 9 hole golf course in the country. Crowned with a springing turf the Golf Course was suggested by Lord Curzon. He was so enchanted by the place that he gave his daughter Alexendra, Naldehra as her second name. The Naga temple is also situated here and Naldehra derives its name from it. Later drive to Kufri derives its name from ‘Kufri’ which means lake. It is especially popular among trekkers. The salubrious climate and stunning natural beauty makes Kufri a perfect summer getaway. Kufri is also a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers as the Himalayan Nature Park is situated on the outskirts of the town. The Park is home to over 180 varieties of fauna.

Thereafter visit the famous mall road of Shimla. Visit the Scandal Point, Jhakoo Temple (private vehicles do not have access to Jhakoo temple because of the location. The guests can take a shared taxi available on Mall Road and visit the temple. It’s advisable to visit the temple before it turns dark; hence the guests can first visit the temple and then spend time on the mall road.) After ample of Shopping time, return to your hotel. Overnight in the Hotel / Resort.

Day 3 : Shimla to Manali (290 Kilometer - Approx 08-09 Hours Journey)

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It is also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass. Departure to Manali. Pass by beautiful Kullu valley, Beas river, Dashehra maidan etc.

After an early breakfast, depart for Manali by road. Enjoy the scenic beauty of enchanting Kullu Valley while you drive to Manali. In Hinduism, Manu was said to have survived a great flood that destroyed the rest of the world. He then recreated mankind in this Kullu Valley town. Boost your adrenaline rush while you enjoy White Water Rafting in the gushing waters of the Beas River (on your own). Later arrive in Manali and check in at the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 4 : Excursion to Snow Point ( 51 Kms - Approx 3-4 Hours Journey one Way)

Rohtang Pass - Located at a height of 3979 metres and at a distance of 51 kms from Manali, Rohtang Pass is on the highway to Keylong/Leh. In winters, the pass remains closed but is open from June to October for motor vehicles. This pass is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley. The best time to visit the pass is between May/June to October/November. In the month of May, Rohtang becomes a hotspot for adventure enthusiasts. Tourists can go for various thrilling activities like snow scooter, skiing and mountain biking. Nature lovers can enjoy beautiful views of glaciers, peaks and Chandra river that flows down in the Lahaul valley. There is a waterfall named as Rahala, which is located at a distance of 16 kms from Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass. This waterfall flows down from an altitude of 2,500 metres and looks amazingly wonderful. Photography buffs must visit this pass as they get to click one of the most beautiful pictures of nature. It is recommended to hire a local cab or take a bus, as the drive to Rohtang Pass becomes quite tough with slippery road and narrow curves.

After early breakfast enjoy a breathtaking drive to Snow Point on the road to Rohthang Pass. Known for its scenic beauty. The Pass offers beautiful sights of glaciers, peaks, Lahaul Valley and the Chandra River. The twin peaks of Geypan are also visible from Rohtang. Later visit the famous Solang Valley. Solang Valley, locally known as Solang Nullah, is renowned as the preferred location for adventure activities in Himachal Pradesh. For those who love the rush of adrenaline; there is no place better than Solang in Kullu Valley to indulge in parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing. It is 8500 feet above mean sea level. Solang is not just about adventure activities. Its lush greenery, apple orchards, snowcapped peaks and lakes attracts lacs of visitors. Return to hotel by the evening. Overnight Stay.

As per Government Rule Only Petrol Vehicle is allowed to Visit Rohtang Pass, Our Vehicle will not go there. Guest has to pay the Charges of Vehicle to visit Snow Point. Our Driver will help them to Arrange the Local Manali Vehicle on Direct Payment Basis.

Day 5 : Manali Local Sightseeing Tour

Today morning after breakfast, visit Naggar. Naggar was the former capital of Kullu. It was founded by Raja Visudhpal and continued as a headquarters of the State until the capital was transferred to Sultanpur (Kullu) by Jagat Singh in 1460 A.D. Today this ancient and beautiful Palace is a popular tourist spot. Prof. Late Nicholas Roerich, a reputed artist had chosen Naggar as his residence when he came to India in 1929. The house has now been converted in an art gallery which houses numbers of rare paintings and other specimen of art in Naggar.

After lunch, enjoy Manali Local Sightseeing. Visit Hadimba Temple, Vashisth Kund. Hadimba temple, Also known as the Doongri Temple, is a four-tiered pagoda-like wooden temple standing in deodar trees and has beautiful carvings on its ornamental door. Dedicated to Hadimba, the wife of Bhim, this temple is the venue for an annual fair held during May. Vashishta Springs, are located across the Beas river, about 3 km away from Manali, at an altitude of 1,982 meters (6,200 feet) and are the natural sulphur hot springs. Enjoy the evening on the mall road where you can buy souvenirs and handicrafts (on your own). Overnight in hotel.

Day 6 : Manali to Dharamshala (240 Kilometer / 7 hours Journey)

Dharamshala: The High snow clad Dhauladhar ranges form a magnificent backdrop to the hill resort of Dharamsala. This is the principal township of Kangra district and overlooks wide spread of the plains. With dense pine and deodar forests, numerous streams, cool healthy air, attractive surroundings and the nearby snowline, Dharamsala has everything for a perfect holiday. It is full of life and yet peaceful. The headquarters of His Holiness the Dalai Lama are at upper Dharamsala. Covering a wide area in the form of twin settlement, lower Dharamsala (1380m) is a busy commercial centre. While upper Dharamsala (1830m) with the suburbs of Mcleodganj and Forsytheganj, retains a British flavor and colonial lifestyle. The charming church of St. John in the wilderness is situated here and this is the final resting place of Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the 19th century. There is also a large Tibetan community who have made this place their home. Numerous ancient temples like Jwalamukhi, Brijeshwari and Chamunda lie on the plains below Dharamsala.

After Early breakfast drive to Dharamshala. En route we visit Bir Monastery where we can visit the Tibetan carpet-weaving factory and drive towards Dharamshala. On arrival check in at hotel and relax, after fresh up proceed to Mcleoganj Market, Bhagsu Nag, Dal Lake, Naddi, Church, Dharamkot etc & Back to Dharamshala. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 : Dharamshala to Dalhousie (160 Kilometer / 5 Hours Journey)

Dalhousie: One of the most popular hill stations in Himachal Pradesh, Dalhousie is well-known for its natural beauty and pleasant climate. It is situated between 6,000 and 9,000 feet and is surrounded by scenic snow-capped peaks. Dalhousie gets its name from its eponymous founder Lord Dalhousie and houses a large number of Victorian-style mansions. It is spread over an 14 sq km and covers over five hills. Lord Dalhousie was drawn to this region in 1854 because of its peaceful atmosphere and pleasant climate. Eventually, the British acquired five hills Kathalagh, Potreyn, Terah (or Moti Tibba), Bakrota and Bhangora from the ruler of Chamba State for developing the area as a retreat. In return, his taxes were reduced. Soon it became a popular resort for Englishmen, military officials and soldiers to escape the scorching summers of the plains.

Morning After Breakfast check out from Hotel & Proceed to Dalai Lama Monastry, Palam pur Tea garden - Baijnath - Shiv Temple. Later Proceed to Dalhousie. On Arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the Local Market. Overnight stay at the Hote.

Day 8 : Dalhousie - Khajjiar Local Sightseeing Tour

Khajjiar is a popular hill station about 26 km from Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh. One of the 160 places in the world that bear tropical resemblance to Switzerland, Khajjiar is situated at a height of 6500 feet and bestowed with natural beauty and pleasant climate. Vast expanse of green meadows and dense forests besides vistas of majestic snow-clad Himalayan peaks make Khajjiar a popular destination among tourists. The Khajjiar Lake and Chamera Lake add to the charm of Khajjiar.

Morning drive to Khajjiar also known as mini Switzerland of Himachal Pradesh (one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course . Here one can also cover Khaji Nag Temple ). Later Proceed to visit Panjpulla, Subash Bowli, and Stature Falls. Evening Explore Mall Road. Overnight Stay at Hotel / Resort.

Day 9 : Dalhousie to Chandigarh (320 Kilometer / 8 Hours)

Chandigarh is the best-planned city in India, with architecture which is world-renowned, and a quality of life, which is unparalleled. As the capital of the states of Punjab and Haryana, and the Union Territory of Chandigarh it is a prestigious city. The face of modern India, Chandigarh, is the manifestation of a dream that Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru envisaged and Le Corbusier executed. Serenity and a city are two diametrically opposite concepts, which however, get belied in the City Beautiful. Chandigarh is a rare epitome of modernization co-existing with natures preservation. It is here that the trees and plants are as much a part of the construction plans as the buildings and the roads. India first planned city, is a rich, prosperous, spic and span, green city rightly called THE CITY BEAUTIFUL .

After Breakfast drive to Chandigarh. On arrival Check in at Hotel. Start your city tour with Sukhna Lake that lies in the foothills of shivalik range. People visit in the morning to enjoy fresh breeze. It serves as a picnic spot and good place for water activities. In the evening enjoy shopping in sector 17 market. Back to hotel, overnight stay in Chandigarh hotel.

Day 10 : Chandigarh to Delhi Airport / Railway Station ( 250 Kilometer / 5 hours Journey)

Today after early breakfast check out from the Hotel & proceed to visit Rock Garden. Rock Garden which consist of various arts and objects made of industrial and urban waste. It is situated in sector-1. The credit of its foundation goes to Dr Nek Chand who was the road inspector in the Engineering department of Chandigarh. Later Proceed to Delhi. On Arrival Our Driver will drop you at Delhi Railway Station / Airport for your Onwards Journey.
